"THE WORD OF GOD IS FINAL"

He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the WORD. That I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. John 8:48

When a man in the natural breaks a natural law, he is brought into the courts of our land for trial. This man isn't judged by his looks or by what his family has or hasn't done. The accused is judged "according to the law." We have laws that covers ever act of violence and it carries a certain penalty when exercised rightfully. The judge in court is to see that the accused is given a fair trial and is sentenced "according to law." We want you to see that the judge cannot go beyond the "law" in any case, he must deal according to that which is written in the law books.

The same rule applies to the soul of man. Jesus said concerning judgement, "I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world'.' (John 8:47) The Bible teaches us that "we shall all stand before the judgement seat of Christ." (Rom.14:10) This is inevitable The dead small and great will be there... (Rev.20:12) Jesus is the great and impartial Judge and He will conduct a fair court on that day!

I hope that everyone reading this message today will get this point: Even though Jesus is the Judge, He will judge us according to His law! The Bible will be the "law book" and we will be "judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works." (Rev.20:12) In that day there will be no witnesses summon to that trial! The Bible will decide the case with not one bit of bribery attached. The man sitting in the judgement seat will see that every man is judged according to his works!

The word of God is final! We mean by this that God's word is conclusive and decisive. There will be no need for argument, there will be no room for a new trial! Jesus said, "Many will say unto me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you....... (Mat.7.22) Here are some who "did SOME of the things of God" but they set aside other things! The final decision was, "Depart from me..." (ver.23) Yes, they put up an argument but to no avail!!

Friends, why argue with the word of God? Why feel that "you" are an exception? Why would God overlook you or excuse you and condemn another? This is vain thinking if it be your case. Why would you think that God expects others to be in church regular, pay the expense of the church, sing and testify. . . and then excuse YOU? You do think that regular services should be in the church, don't you? You do think that a church should be honest and pay their bills, don't you? You do think that the church should be progressive and soul winning, don't you? If so, why do you think that Jesus will excuse you just because you are a little tired or something?????? Now you may say, "I agree that I should be a part in all these things." Now, here is my question: Do you do them? If not, What will be your answer when you are on trial for your acts in life? Remember, you can't hire a lawyer to defend you! There will be no cross examinations and no worth while alibi!

The "law book" teaches "one Lord and his name one" (Zec.14:9). This law says to be "baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. . . (Acts 2:38) This book says to "be filled with the Spirit. . ." (Eph 5:18) The law further reads that one "must be holy; for I am holy." (1st.Pet.1:16) The law says that by failing to bring your tithe to the storehouse you are a robber... (Mal.3:6-10) Now, this is the "law book" that will be opened in your face and mine in that great day! What will be our answer? Can we say that we never heard? Can we say that we didn't have a Bible to read? Can we say that we didn't have a preacher to tell and warn us? You may answer these questions in your own mind and please don't take them lightly!

God's word will deal to you exactly what you deserve. No partiality will be shown. The color of your skin will not mean a thing. Your money and worldly fame will not count for you. Your fine clothes or rags will not be considered. Your job or position, will be left outside. As the song goes, "I will face nobodys record LORD, but my own." You are writing that record every day. . . How does it look? Your excuses, your complaints, your false accusations, your failure to attend God's services, your failure to carry the load expected of you. . . How will it be???
