GOD HAS A DEFINITE PLAN

God still calls men and women today to preach and teach His anointed word. He called Moses especially to lead His people out of Egypt. Ex. 3:4-5, "Now the man Moses was very meek , above all the men which were upon the face of the earth." 1 Sam. 16:7 in part, "for man looketh on the heart." Num. 12:6 in part, "If there be a prophet among you, I the Lord will make myself known unto him.." God has a definite plan. We must fit into His plan. He will not change it for you or for me. If we are going to get the job done, it must be in the will of God. David wanted to build the temple. It was a good thing. But God told him he could not build it because he had been a man of war. David prepared everything for the building as if he was going to do the job. We must work to spread the Gospel. It may seem like we are doing very little. If it is our best and in the will of God, it will all accomplish good. James 4:15, "For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that." If we do things to make a name for ourself then God is not in it. There has been many radio and television ministers that claim to do great things. They were really building their name and their own kingdom. "so do these also resist the truth; men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith." 2 Tim. 3:8 in part. God's true church and members will have the mind of Christ. "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus." Phil. 2:5. We need to think like God. It needs to show in our every day actions. It will be in our preaching and teaching. God needs men and women to get under the anointing of His Spirit. Luke 4:18. Jesus said in Matt. 13:11, "Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given." Paul tells us how he depended upon the Holy Ghost to lead him in Acts 16:9, "And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into.Macedonia, and help us." verse 10, "Immediately we endeavored to go into Macedonia..." Verses 13-15 they went out of the city by the river side where prayer was wont to be made and sat down and spake unto the women, They met Lydia,a seller of purple, whose heart the Lord opened and she was baptized and her household. Later Paul went to Asia and won many souls. This gospel must be preached to all the world before He comes. God needs anointed ministers led by His Spirit, willing to suffer if need be, to preach to a lost and dying world. We are living in the last day when He is getting His church ready. The church has enjoyed good preaching, singing and fellowship. Much of the time ministers are not willing to go where they are needed. The young ministers would like to have a nice church with a good number of members and good tithers. Someone in the past had to suffer to have a church where the truth is preached. It is up to us today to hold up these high standards, when there is a door opened in another state or even another country. We pray God will send labourers, Luke 10:2, "The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few..."
