We find Jesus saying in Matt. 24:13, "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." So we can't stop for anything on our journey! Now we want to turn into the Holy Word of God to the book of St. John, chapter 14, beginning with verse 1. Here Jesus is speaking such comforting words to His disciples. "Let not your heart be troubled ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." It is such a great blessing to read these things and know that just what God has promised us, He will surely bring to pass. If we are ready when He comes back for His Bride, then we will move to a place where there will be no more death, sorrow, crying or pain. In Revelation we are told that the former things will be passed away. In this beautiful Heaven there will never be an end to the joys we will find there. We can stroll down the streets of pure gold, live in an eternal mansion made for us by Jesus Himself. Unlike this world there won't be any hatred, jealousy, envy, strife there won't be constant wars with our loved ones dying on the battle fields. The human mind can not grasp a place like this, but as we read of it, we can look forward and be preparing ourselves to live there when this life is over. I am truly looking forward to the day when we lay down this cross and exchange it to a bright and shining crown! Let's press forward like we never have before. Our final goal is just ahead!
